Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing due diligence on US-listed companies and Asia markets, generating differentiated insights by identifying trends, risks, and potential disruptions.
Stay informed on key macroeconomic and government policy developments in the US and Asia.
Build and maintain detailed financial models to analyze current and potential investments.
Complete complex analytical projects within tight deadlines, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of valuation models.
Contribute to written research and present investment recommendations to global investment teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment research, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
Proficient in financial modeling with demonstrated analytical ability and a disciplined, bottom-up fundamental research approach.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with quantitative frameworks (e.g., QuantLib, PyAlgoTrade) is a plus.
Ability to visualize data effectively using tools like Plotly or Tableau.
Strong analytical skills with experience working on economic macro data and company financial data.
Strong judgment, work ethic, and the highest standards of professional and personal integrity.
Resilient and self-aware, capable of learning from mistakes and thriving in uncertain environments.
Independent decision-making ability, paired with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
